Gibbed - Demo 1990 (Advance for "Eternal Life" Flexi 1990) And "Samurai" Zine Issues 1 & 2

Japan's first true grindcore band. Though favoring the metallic end of the genre, they still had the particulars nailed down a LOT tighter than predecessors Deathpeed (who were really aimless dark thrash) and S.O.B. (who garishly sold out to play the style...and completely sucked shit at it). Also included is the first two issues of nihonjin zine "Samurai", who helped finance a CD compilation featuring these and other previously published trax from Cacofonia, Anarchus, and Multiplex.

P.S.: Gibbed's name is an Engrish portmanteau of having been hung on a gallows.

(The) S.C.U.M. - "Bouryoku-Chudoku" Flexi 1989, "Chudoku-Kanjya" CD 1991, "Inconstant" Tape 1992

"Japanese hardcore/thrashcore band(s) from Kyushu, formed in 1988 as 'Acid', but later changed their name to 'S.C.U.M.' the same year. Two demos were released in 1988 and 1990. Their singer left the group around 1989, relocating to Tokyo to continue playing as 'The S.C.U.M.' (with different members). The original 'S.C.U.M.' continued with a new lineup. 'The S.C.U.M.' released the "Bouryoku-Chudoku" flexi in 1989, then later moved back to Kyushu, releasing the "Chudoku-Kanjya" CD in 1991. The CD contains a few re-recorded versions of songs that originally appeared on the flexi. The '88 and '90 demos were compiled and released as the 'Inconstant' cassette by King's World Records in 1992." ⭑Siege cover!!!⭑

Hitler SS - Split 7" with Tampax 1979 & "Pordenone Guy's" Tape (Year?)

"Italian teenage punk band from Pordenone, active between 1978 and 1979. The first members were Miss Xox on guitar and vocals, and Plastic Girl on drums. They were later joined by Sid Delicious on bass, Paris on guitar, and Johnny Bee Good on keyboards. In 1978, under the name 'Hit SS', they played at 'Sabatok Folle' punk fest in Milan."

"Their activity was short but devastating, and it reached its peak with the release of their split 7" with Tampax. In August of 1979 both Hitler SS and Tampax moved to London, where on Saturday the 1st of September they played the infamous 'Cartoon Concert', under the Aklam bridge (Portobello Road). The group broke up soon after."

Jeiheitai (pre Stalin) 16 Track Tape '79/'80, ADK Omnibus Vol. 1 2x7" 1983, Vol. 2 7" 1984, And Tam Vol. 1 7" & Flexi 1983

Michiro Endo's earliest Iggy-raw ejaculations, Tam's patronage of metalpunk and theatercore, his maddest skillz before G-Zet, and karaoke quality time with The Stalin...muzak style!

Q: And minds blown? A: And minds blown.

Macht (Wehrmacht) - "Vice Grip" Demo 1989

Final release from this one-time speedcore GOD (!!!). The songs......are slooower 😧, and pronouncedly longer 😱 than previous recordings that got them mentioned in the same sentences with Napalm Death. But I'm into it, it still "feels" like the band, there's a familiar overarching track structure and similar recording vibe as the LPs, it's just not "fast and silly" anymore. I've raged at that sort of apologetic copout with pleeeeeenty of other groups who decided to "mature and explore", but this is one of the rarest of times that I'm completely forgiving of it...

Chaotic Noise (Excel) - Demos 1 & 2 1984

"Excel is a crossover thrash band from Venice California, founded  in 1983 as "Chaotic Noise" by singer Dan Clements and guitarist Adam Siegel. Soon Evan Warech joined on drums, and In 1984 Rickey Pallamino on bass. Warech and Pallamino were out of the group the following year, replaced by Greg Saenz and Shaun Ross respectively. The band's name was then changed to 'Excel', after influence from Ross and his graffiti crew K.S.N. (Kings Stop At Nothing) utilizing the word in their tags."

Cosey Fanni Tutti - "Unclad" Scans (1970s)

"Cosey Fanni Tutti (born Christine Carol Newby, November 4th, 1951) is an English performance artist, musician, and writer, best known for her time in the avant-garde groups Throbbing Gristle and Chris & Cosey. Her name came about in 1973 (before which she performed under the name Cosmosis), and comes from the opera 'Così fan tutte', meaning literally 'Thus Do They All'."

"Tutti had a long career as a stripper, as well as the fields of pornographic magazines and film, stemming from a desire to incorporate her own image into collages she produced in this period. Some of her performance art has also drawn on her experience as an adult performer."
